Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque

Sacred Ottoman shrine complex set in a peaceful oasis of date palms on the banks of Larnaca Salt Lake.

An important pilgrimage site in the Islamic world, holding the tomb of Umm Haram, foster mother of the Prophet Muhammad. Constructed during Ottoman rule in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

The complex features graceful minarets, domed prayer halls, and lush gardens of date palms, olive groves, and friendly resident cats.
