1. Data We Collect

When you create a ProCY account, we store your email address (or Google / Telegram identifier), display name, and preferred interface language. To prevent spam on reactions and reports, we store an anonymized salted hash of the IP address.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide ProCY features: syncing saved places and articles, posting comments, recording place mood reactions, and sending transactional verification or password-reset emails.

3. Analytics & Third-Party Services

Anonymous traffic analytics are used to optimize catalog performance without profiling or collecting personal identifiers. Weather data is fetched server-side from Open-Meteo without exposing visitor data.

4. Account Deletion & GDPR Rights

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal information while keeping any past helpful comments anonymized.
