Latchi Marina & Seafood Promenade

Bustling fishing harbour and yacht marina, departure hub for Blue Lagoon boat trips and top seafood taverns.

Latchi is the maritime gateway to the Akamas Peninsula. Formerly a small port shipping carobs across the Mediterranean, it is now an attractive modern marina filled with yachts, traditional fishing boats, and excursion cruisers.

The pedestrian promenade is lined with celebrated fish taverns serving the morning catch, while the docks are the primary launching point for boat trips to the famous Blue Lagoon.

Tips before you go

  • Rent a self-drive motorboat from the marina to explore the secret coves of Akamas at your own pace.
  • Feast on fresh red mullet, calamari, and octopus at established tavernas like Porto Latchi.
  • The adjoining Blue Flag pebble beach features crystal clear water and sunbed facilities.

How to get there

3 km west of Polis Chrysochous along the coastal road (E713).
