Catacombs of Saint Solomoni

Early Christian underground rock chapel with a sacred wishing tree and holy underground spring in Kato Paphos.

Originally Hellenistic tomb chambers repurposed as a subterranean chapel and hideout during early Christian persecutions.

Above ground, a giant ancient terebinth tree is draped in fabric ribbons left by worshippers seeking healing. Underground, stone steps descend into cool vaulted chambers and a holy water well.

Tips before you go
